Marketing concept for Schenker Technologies: generating leads and increasing sales

Schenker Technologies, a leading provider of IT hardware and extended reality technologies based in Leipzig, commissioned Invictus to develop a comprehensive marketing concept. The company serves different target groups with its brands: the cult gaming brand XMG is aimed at private users, while the SCHENKER brand targets professional users and commercial customers. Via the e-commerce platform bestware.com Schenker Technologies also offers a broad product catalogue. Furthermore, the company operates throughout Europe as a specialised distributor for augmented and virtual reality hardware.

 

Our Task

Invictus was developed by Schenker Technologies to create a marketing concept including strategy, target and target group definitions, action and editorial plan for the different brands bestware, SCHENKER and XMG. When implementing the individual measures, the special focus is on lead generation for the B2B brand SCHENKER - from classic public relations to all online, email and social media marketing channels.

Project Goals

The main objective was to position the SCHENKER brand as a leading provider of IT solutions in the B2B segment and to significantly increase lead generation. At the same time, the XMG and bestware.com brands were to be strengthened within their target groups and sales across all channels sustainably increased.

Implementation

Invictus developed a customised marketing concept that specifically targets all Schenker Technologies brands. The focus was on strategy development, target group definition, and a detailed action and editorial plan. For the B2B brand SCHENKER, lead generation strategies were implemented, ranging from public relations and social media campaigns to personalised email marketing measures.

In the realm of content marketing, blog articles, white papers, and success stories were created, which both highlight the brand's expertise and support potential customers in their purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, SEO measures to increase the visibility of the website in search engines.

Social media strategies and targeted campaigns were developed for the XMG and bestware.com brands, aimed at community engagement and sales promotion. Specifically for XMG, the gaming community was engaged through influencer collaborations and event marketing.

Result

The measures developed resulted in a significant increase in leads for the SCHENKER brand, which had a positive impact on sales. The SEO optimisations led to better website visibility, and the targeted social media campaigns strengthened brand loyalty and reach. Schenker Technologies also benefited from clearer brand communication that addressed all target groups and underpinned its positioning as a leading provider in the IT and Extended Reality market.
